I think Mays was the best all around player in baseball history. He could hit for power and average, field, run. A pure player.

hes definately in the picture. Hank Aaron won alot of gold gloves either and rarely got credit on his outfield skills.

In these big salary times in baseball, they would have to give him ownership of the team as payment
Today, players are a bunch of overpaid whimps. Steroids, players going from team to team, and no loyalty had ruined the game.

in some ways i agree he wouldnt get praised as much....but it was a great catch. And you probly have never played baaseball because you dont understand how tough that catch is to make |
